in the States of California and Connecticut. Also licensed to
practice in the United States District Court, Southern District
of California. Attorney Johnson has been defending clients in
Criminal Courts for 23 years.
Attorney Johnson has extensive experience
in the areas of Criminal Law, Juvenile Dependency, Business Litigation
and Civil Defense. She served the public for seven years at the
San Bernardino County Public Defender’s Office, where she
earned the nickname of Robin “not guilty” Johnson.
Attorney Johnson has successfully defended thousands of clients
in the criminal courts. Her jury trial experience is extensive,
and she is successful in obtaining acquittals in many of her cases.
Attorney Johnson is also a master negotiator.
She can walk into any courtroom and turn an impossible situation
around, convincing the prosecutors to dismiss charges, reduce
charges, and release her clients from jail.
Attorney Johnson was one of the first attorneys
in California to bring to jury trial a case under the Third Strikes
Law. She was perhaps the first, if not one of the first, to win
and get her client a NOT GUILTY verdict. Because of that particular
case, her client walked out of jail a free man, saved from being
forced to serve 25 years to life in prison. Her case was featured
on the television show “60 Minutes,” along with the
original prosecutor on the case. Attorney Johnson became the leading
authority on Three Strikes cases in the county.
